In commemoration of Total Defence Day, the theme continues with “Together We Keep Singapore Strong” as we tide through a wider range of challenge and threats in this times.

A booth was set up at the canteen area, featuring a military-themed backdrop consisting a mannequin fully donned in military uniform and accessories. Instructions were provided at the booth with QR codes to facilitate self-directed learning with mobile devices.

The students tried putting on camouflage paint, plastic military helmets and challenge themselves with online quizzes about the six pillars of Total Defence. In the classroom, the teachers went through the lesson resource slides to help the students understand what Total Defence is about and how they could play their part. The younger students also get crafty and created their personalised military helmets made out of paper bowls and felt. Overall, the students get to explore, examine and experiment so it was an engaging learning experience.
