On the 16 July 2016, two teams of students participated in the Inter-Specialised / SPED Schools Culinary Challenge 2016 organised by Delta Senior School and supported by the Singapore Junior Chefs Club (SJCC) and the Singapore Chefs Association (SCA).
The structure of the challenge promotes the demonstration of teamwork among students as they work hand in hand to produce and present a dish. In line with the theme “Cooking Eggcitement”, the use of eggs as a core ingredient will be emphasised.
A total of 10 teams participated in the Qualifying Round. Upon presenting to the panel of judges, 4 teams are advanced to the Final Round, where they will be required to produce another egg dish specified by the panel of judges.
The school is proud to announce that one of our team made it to the Final round and clinched the 2nd position.
