Social Work Services
We aim to enable our students to function more effectively in the school by providing emotional, social, financial and familial support through a range of services such as casework and counselling, groupwork, family sessions and family education.
The Social Worker:
- addresses the social, emotional, financial and behavioral concerns of students and their family members, taking into consideration their mental and physical well-being. This could take the form of individual or group sessions;
- works with parents and caregivers, equipping and empowering them through information and education to build a better relationship with their child and the school;
- collaborates with teachers, other professionals and external agencies to create a better environment in support of the student’s learning;
