Curriculum Developer (2-year contract)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for one learning domain.
  • Design a coherent, progressive, and inclusive curriculum that meets the diverse learning needs of Metta students.
  • Ensure curriculum alignment with school mission and desired student outcomes.
  • Develop clear learning progressions that support mastery, generalisation, and independence.
  • Develop and curate curriculum resources, teaching materials, and assessment tools
  • Collaborate with Curriculum Developers of other domains to ensure holistic curriculum planning, ie, minimal overlap, with optimal opportunities for learning reinforcement across subjects.
  • Source appropriate resources, including learning applications and digital learning platforms, to support the delivery of the curriculum.
  • Work closely with teachers to translate curriculum into practical lesson plans and classroom practices.
  • Monitor curriculum implementation and seek feedback proactively.
  • Identify gaps, strengths, and areas for curriculum enhancement.
  • Develop developmentally appropriate assessment practices, including both formative and summative assessments.
  • Analyze student learning data to inform curriculum improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma from a recognized local educational institution.
  • Experience with curriculum design and development, preferably for children from aged 7 to 18.
  • Trained with Diploma in Education or Diploma in Special Education (DISE) and relevant experience in teaching students with special needs are an advantage.
  • Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
