Lin Zhao Yong (V4-1) , Muhammad Dhaifan Chia Bin Mohammed Noh (V2-2)
Zhao Yong and Dhaifan are the recipients for the Lee Kuan Yew Exemplary Students Award for the year 2023. This award recognizes students’ achievements in both academic and non-academic areas, including their contributions to the community.
Zhao Yong, shines brightly with remarkable achievements in Student Leadership and Sports. His unwavering dedication and hard work are truly commendable. With his strong school values, positive learning attitude and humility, Zhao Yong is appointed Head Prefect this year and he serves diligently. He also demonstrates discipline and trains intensively for bowling, such that he is selected by the SOSG committee to represent Singapore in Berlin for the World Summer Games (SOSG) 2023.
Dhaifan is a confident young man who knows what he wants and perseveres in the face of challenges. He is amongst the first cohort of students pursing ITE Skills Certificate (ISC) in Residential Air-conditioning in 2022 and despite the high demands, he has successfully completed the course. As a student leader, Dhaifan is not only responsible in discharging his duties, he collaborates well with others and is role model for his peers and juniors.
